Chased and fire-gilt bronze, partly polished, base with rich Empire ornament, clock case flanked by Orpheus with a lyre and a lute, in which a small Cupid sits; white enamel dial with Roman indices signed "Michelez / Élève de Breguet", thread suspension, bell strike, 53 x 35 x 14 cm. Case attributable to bronzier Louis-Stanislas Lenoir-Ravrio (Paris 1783 - Ivry 1846). Dial signature suggests clockmaker Charles Joseph Marie Michelez (1771 - 1848).

Das Gehäuse kann dem Bronzier Louis-Stanislas Lenoir-Ravrio (Paris 1783 - Ivry 1846) zugeschrieben werden. Die Signatur des Zifferblatts lässt auf den Uhrmacher Charles Joseph Marie Michelez (1771 - 1848) schließen, der in der Zeit von 1812 bis 1828 in der Rue Saint Honoré No. 128 eine Werkstatt betrieb.
