Linden wood, carved, polychrome and partially gilded. Verso partly with visible wood. The putto is stylistically close to the works of the Alpine sculptor Johann Meinrad Guggenbichler. In the collection of the Belvedere, Vienna, four very similar putti from the plague altar (Francis altar) of the abbey church in Mondsee are kept, cf. Meinrad Guggenbichler "Putto with fig" / "Putto with pomegranate" / "Putto" / "Putto", around 1685/86, linden wood.
Lindenholz, geschnitzt, polychrom gefasst und partiell vergoldet. Verso teils holzsichtig. Der Putto steht stilistisch den Werken des alpenländischen Bildhauers Johann Meinrad Guggenbichler nahe. In der Sammlung des Belvedere, Wien werden vier sehr ähnliche Putti des Pestaltars (Franziskusaltar) der Stiftskirche in Mondsee bewahrt, vgl.
