Description
The standing Mother of God in a long, elegantly flowing robe and pointed shoes protruding from the hem, wearing a crown and holding the Christ Child on her right arm. The very fine marble sculpture is in the style of the late Gothic of the late 15th century; the execution is to be dated around 1800. Both heads are attached, H 20 cm.
Die stehende Muttergottes im langen, elegant fließenden Gewand und mit spitzen Schuhen, die unter dem Saum hervortreten, trägt eine Krone und hält das Jesuskind auf ihrem rechten Arm. Die sehr feine Bildhauerarbeit aus Marmor ist im Stil der späten Gotik des ausgehenden 15. Jhs. gehalten, die Ausführung ist um 1800 zu datieren. Beide Köpfe sind angesetzt, H 20cm
