Four floral embroideries on paper. Germany, 2nd half of the 18th century. 8.4 x 5.8 cm to 18 x 10.5 cm. Hinged under passe-partouts. Filigree polychrome needlework. Three embroideries on small laid-paper leaves with rose, carnation and floral trellis around a pair of hearts and billing doves, a larger smoothed tracing paper with three carnation blossoms on a stem. The laid papers somewhat foxed, one corner of the rose leaf old.
Vier Blumenstickereien auf Papier. Deutschland, 2. Hälfte 18. Jahrhundert. 8,4 x 5,8 cm bis 18 x 10,5 cm. An Fälzchen unter Passepartouts. Filigrane mehrfarbige Handarbeiten. Drei Stickereien auf kleinen Büttenblättchen mit Rose, Nelke sowie Blütenspalier um je ein Paar Herzen und schnäbelnde Tauben, ein größeres geglättetes Transparentpapier mit drei Nelkenblüten am Stengel. - Die Büttenpapiere etwas stockfleckig, eine Ecke des Rosenblattes alt angesetzt, die Stickereien selbst tadellos und mit Seidenglanz.
