Description

Untitled. (Drawing). Charcoal on wove paper. Signed and dated lower right and again signed verso and on the back of the backing cardboard once more signed, dated and inscribed "Drawing". 1943. Sheet dimensions: 25 x 32.8 cm. Abstract drawing from the Lake Constance period of Max Ackermann (1887-1975), who retreated to the Höri peninsula after the National Socialists came to power. During this time, the small village became a refuge for artists.

Ohne Titel. (Zeichnung).
