Ivo Hauptmann (1886-1973), son of the famous playwright Gerhart Hauptmann, spent numerous summers on Hiddensee and was very attached to the island. - Sheet overall heavily browned and waved, in all four sheet corners translucent fading due to remnants of old mountings, conspicuous light margins.
