The Masonic lodge "Zur beständigen Freiheit" in Quedlinburg was founded on 14 April 1991 and held its lighting ceremony on 6 October 1991. The lodge jewel (identity-forming member badge) from the founding period symbolises the new beginning after decades of oppression in the region.
