Crucifix, ivory, probably France, late 18th c. Christ in four-nail type, fully sculpted, arms attached. This figure was presumably originally mounted on a wooden cross. The condition and posture, especially the feet and nails, suggest French Romanesque as a model. (Details in the expert report by Matthias Streckfuß dated 26.1.2025, available). 19.5 x 14.0 x 3.9 cm. Kruzifix, Elfenbein, wohl Frankreich, Ende 18. Jh. Christus im Viernageltypus, vollplastisch geschnitzt, Arme angesetzt. Vermutlich war diese Figur ursprünglich auf einem Holzkreuz befestigt. Der Zustand und die Haltung, besonders der Füße und Nägel lassen auf französische Romanik als Vorbild schließen.
