Origin of the lots

Car parts and accessories come mainly from decommissioned government vehicles, seizures and liquidations. Zoll-Auktion sells off customs, federal, state and municipal equipment, with no buyer's premium. Justiz-Auktion sells goods seized by bailiffs and courts, also with no buyer's premium. VEBEG, a federal company, offers government and military equipment, often by sealed tender. Liquidation and insolvency platforms add stock from bankrupt companies, and private auction houses complete the range. Forklifts and pallet trucks are not listed here, they fall under professional equipment.

Checkpoints before bidding

Read the German description carefully. For spare parts, check compatibility, condition and that all components are present. For accessories, check wear and fixings. The terms "nicht fahrbereit", "Motorschaden", "Unfallfahrzeug", "ohne TÜV", "HU abgelaufen" or "Zulassung erloschen" indicate complete vehicles, not parts alone. Request additional photos and ask questions before the sale. Viewing (Besichtigung) is often possible by appointment. An auction generally offers neither warranty nor right of withdrawal: read the seller's terms. Also check the VAT regime and buyer's premium stated for each lot.

Collection and delivery

Many lots are for collection on site, marked "nur Abholung". Arrange suitable transport, especially for bulky or heavy parts. Some sellers ship within Germany or the EU, ask for the cost before bidding. Between Germany and another EU country, no customs duty applies. Delivery outside the EU, to Switzerland, the UK or Norway, incurs import duties and VAT. An EU business with a valid VAT number can often buy without German VAT by providing proof of transport (Gelangensbestätigung), depending on the seller. Bidorado does not sell anything: you bid on the seller's official website.

Frequently asked questions: Car parts & accessories

Where can I find car parts at auction in Germany?

Check Zoll-Auktion for customs and government equipment, Justiz-Auktion for seizures, VEBEG for federal and military property, as well as liquidation platforms and private auction houses. Bidorado brings these sales together and translates them, but you always bid on the seller's official website.

Are there buyer's premiums and VAT?

Zoll-Auktion and Justiz-Auktion do not charge buyer's premiums. For private sellers, expect around 15 to 20% with liquidators and industrial platforms, often 25 to 33% with art auction houses. German VAT of 19% is added according to the regime stated for each lot.

How does collection or delivery work?

Many lots are for collection on site, marked "nur Abholung". Some sellers ship within Germany or the EU. Arrange suitable transport for heavy parts. Outside the EU, import duties and VAT apply. Ask the seller for details before bidding.
