Lot to collect on site: how to get it to you
Many lots are not shipped. Here are the options for collecting them from abroad.
1. Read the collection conditions
"Nur Abholung" means collection only. The deadline is often short (one to two weeks after payment) and collection is by appointment. The seller usually does not pack.
2. Go yourself
It is worthwhile for a bulky lot or several nearby lots. Bidorado's sales map helps group several collections on the same trip.
3. Send someone
A third party can collect the lot with a written power of attorney (Vollmacht) and a copy of your ID. Notify the seller in advance.
4. Use a carrier
Carriers and groupage services offer collection in Germany and delivery in France. Request a quote before bidding, specifying dimensions, weight and collection address.
5. The right reflex
Always add the collection cost to your maximum price before bidding. Bidorado's "Deliverable to me" filter also allows you to display only shipped lots.
